Education
Dana graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario in 2010 with an Honours degree in Psychology (summa cum laude). She then attended the University of Kent in Canterbury, U.K. and obtained an Honours LL.B. in English and French Law in 2015. Following her return to Canada she participated in the Law Practice Program at Ryerson University, which provides a unique alternative to traditional articling. As part of this program, she completed her work experience with a busy sole practitioner in Hamilton, Ontario working in the areas of family and criminal law.
Experience
Following her Call to the Bar in 2018, Dana continued her legal career in downtown Hamilton, focusing her practice on family and child protection issues. Prior to joining Lancaster, Brooks & Welch in 2020, Dana practiced family law with a sole practitioner located in St. Catharines. Dana prides herself on maintaining a practical and empathetic approach to resolving family issues for clients in a respectful and cost-effective manner.
